Britain’s supply chain has been threatened with disruption like never before over the past decade, with Brexit, the pandemic, product shortages, border closures and the war in Ukraine slowing or stopping the passage of goods to their end customer. To ensure that supply chain issues do not hamper the growth of UK PLC in the future, Logistics UK is holding its annual one-day conference – Supply Chain Resilience - for industry leaders, to debate the issues affecting the resilience of the sector and identify ways to protect the movement of goods to their end customer.
The event, which takes place at the America Square Conference Centre, London on Thursday 23 March, will provide business representatives with the opportunity to learn and debate with engaging keynote speakers and high-level panel discussions throughout the day.
The keynote presentation will be delivered by Alan McKinnon, Professor of Logistics at Kuhne Logistics University and Professor Emeritus at Heriot-Watt University. The day’s programme will include presentations and debate from other leading industry experts and examine previous lessons learned as well as identifying future issues which could affect the efficacy of the UK’s supply chain.
