Mandata to display latest software innovations and sponsor key award

Following a successful three days at the Commercial Vehicle Show (CV Show), transport management software provider Mandata Ltd will be displaying all of its latest innovations at the Multimodal exhibition.

The company, which will be displaying a range of products including its flagship Mandata TMS as well as a host of mobile applications such as the Sub-contractor App and a brand new Driver Manifest App, will also be proudly sponsoring the Road Freight Operator of the Year Award at the FTA Multimodal Awards.

The ceremony, which is to take place on the first night of the Multimodal exhibition (Tuesday 10 May) is being held at the prestigious new VOX venue at Birmingham’s Resorts World, and is to be hosted by former ITN political editor, John Sergeant.

Judging by the level of interest shown on Mandata’s stand the CV Show, technology and how to gain greater visibility and drive further operational improvements are still very high on the agenda of many road haulage operators.

Mandata’s latest innovations attracted a great deal of interest from companies interested in seeing the benefits that a connected system can bring.

The company unveiled a raft of new software including new features in the Mandata Traffic Pad, Transport Analytics Dashboards and a new Manifest App for Android and iOS platforms to name a few; advances that proved to be big hits with visitors.

Tracy Welford, Head of Marketing at Mandata explained: “The CV Show and Multimodal are key events in our company’s calendar and there is always increased development behind-the-scenes to bring new functionality to the market in time for the shows.”

New functionality such as the soon-to-be-launched Driver Hours feature; an operational tool that will bring data from digital tachos in to the Mandata Traffic Pad to enable companies to plan in extra jobs safely and profitably.

Also launched was the new Web Services Manager, giving hauliers a clear view of job progress and vehicle locations so they can see jobs are progressing to plan.

“It is always our aim to bring relevant information into the right place at the right time, giving greater visibility of jobs, costs, progress and performance and a complete picture with which to gain greater control of operations,” said Tracy.

Mandata also answered this challenge with its Transport Analytics Dashboards product.

“Traditional dashboards are fairly static; often pulling data from one source they can limit flexibility and visibility for the user. Mandata has taken a fresh approach by giving users access to connected live data from all of the Mandata systems, in one highly flexible tool,” confirmed Tracy
