Europa Worldwide Group has strengthened its German operations after the freight forwarder announced a new partnership with Nuremburg-based transport and logistics firm Amm Spedition,
The partnership between Amm Spedition and Europa’s dedicated road division, Europa Road, brings Europa’s total number of daily routes between the UK and Germany to nine, along with existing routes to Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Cologne, Rothlein, Hannover and Hamburg, plus a daily connection to the central CargoLine hub.
The service connects Europa’s 1Hub facility in Dartford with Nuremberg, expanding its partner network and footprint across the continent.
Dan Cook, Operations Director at Europa Worldwide Group, said the new venture will further improve product quality, customer service and transit times in this key industrial area of Germany.
He added: “Amm Spedition is an independent and privately owned business with a similar ethos to Europa. Dedicated to European road freight, it’s a perfect partner to help us boost our presence and reach. Germany is our largest market and Nuremberg is one of its major industrial cities so it makes sense for us to share our business here. We’re sure that our new partnership will help us to grow our volume of consignments and ensure we continue to provide first-rate customer service in Germany and beyond.”
Amm Spedition appealed to Europa as a partner because they are a fellow member of CargoLine, a network of more than 80 companies working together to share their expertise to solve logistics challenges.

As well as its road freight, Europa also provides air and sea, warehouse and showfreight services. The business’s turnover is on track to exceed £200 million by the end of 2018. The business operates across 14 sites in the UK, plus Hong Kong and Belgium, and is represented in 100 countries.
