Talent in Logistics Awards: Deadline extended
The Talent in Logistics Awards, a new event dedicated to recognising and rewarding excellence in training, learning and development in the logistics sector, has extended its deadline to April 28.
Originally set to close on March 31, companies now have another month to nominate their employees for an award, celebrating their skills and hard work.
The categories recognise a wide range of skilled professionals throughout the industry, from training and health and safety staff, to learning and development (L&D), HR and Logistics Managers. Warehouse employees, LGV drivers and apprentices will also be recognised.
The awards will be judged by representatives of leading industry bodies and associations within the logistics sector, including Colin Snape, Deputy Director of Policy, Road Haulage Association; Richard Brewer CMILT MAIRSO, Manager, National Register of LGV Instructors; Shane Walton, Head of Professional Development, Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport; and Peter John Harvey MBE, Chief Executive, Fork Lift Truck Association.
Shortlisted finalists will be announced in mid-May and winners will be revealed at a special ceremony on the evening of June 22 2017 at the Telford International Centre.

The awards, organised by Capitb, which owns workplace transport training regulatory body RTITB and the new National Register of LGV Instructors, form part of Talent in Logistics, a free conference offering seminar sessions focused on the key issues facing learning and development professionals in UK logistics.
