Air cargo sector ends 2014 on an upward trend

Data released by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) has identified a 4.5% growth in air cargo demand during 2014, measured by freight tonne kilometres (FTKs), when compared to the previous year. The level of increase significantly accelerated from the 1.4% recorded in 2013 over 2012.
