Tim Morris to head up corporate affairs at Associated British Ports

As Group Head of Corporate Affairs, Tim will lead on government relations, media relations and external communications at the UK's largest port operator.

A regular contributor to Freight industry Times, Tim has led the UK Major Ports Group for the past five years as its Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that Tim held a number of senior communications, sustainability and strategy roles in the industrial group Tata Steel. Before ports and steel, Tim spent six years with McKinsey in their strategy and corporate finance team.

At ABP, Tim will lead all aspects of corporate affairs including government relations, media relations and external communications.

Julian Walker, ABP’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “ABP is delighted that Tim has agreed to join the team. He brings with him a wealth of industry knowledge and experience. Tim will play a critical role to help deliver our ambitious growth strategy and the leading role ABP will play in enabling the UK’s energy transition.”

Tim will join ABP on 28 November 2022.
